AI Consulting Services for Watford Businesses: What You Are Actually Buying

The service in four steps

Some consulting ends with a report. This one is built to end with something running. As his website describes it:

1. A free call. You describe how the business runs. You leave with a plan you can use with or without him.
2. An audit. He looks at the work worth automating and picks out the one task that would make the biggest difference.
3. Build and install. The AI agent is built and placed inside the tools you already use.
4. Training and support. Your people are shown how it works and it is supported afterwards.

There is no published price list. The cost is given after the free call, with no obligation.

Who is on the other end

Dean Keating is an AI automation consultant, not a consulting company, and he is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Watford. The build and install happen remotely. His website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby in person. If you want someone in the room regularly, say so on the first call.

A worked example from the leisure end of town

The directory's Things to Do & Venues page listed five entries on 10 October 2026, covering a theatre, a cinema, a bowling alley and other places people go for an evening. Our things-to-do guide describes them. We are not suggesting any of them uses this service. We use the type of business because its enquiries are easy to picture.

Imagine one such venue. Between shows, messages arrive asking about a group visit, a children's party or a private hire. Today someone answers them when there is a gap. In a consulting engagement the audit would list those messages, mark the ones that always get the same answer, and mark the ones that need a person, such as a large or unusual booking.

The first build would then cover only the repeat enquiries: reply quickly, answer common questions, put the booking into the diary and pass anything unusual to a named person. The rest waits until the first piece has proved itself.

Questions that separate consultants

- What will exist when you finish that does not exist now?
- Who runs it the day after you leave?
- Does it work inside our current tools?
- When do I hear a price?

Comparing with consulting companies

If you are looking at consulting companies in the county, compare scope and how each begins, and ignore size for its own sake. Our county list describes several from their own websites. The longer AI consultant guide has more questions to ask.
